5. SMS Communications

CoopDrop SMS, a guest-assistance messaging service operated by Coop Drop, sends and receives SMS messages on behalf of participating properties.

Participating properties are required to obtain guest consent before SMS communications occur. Guests opt in during the property's reservation or check-in process by providing their mobile phone number and affirmatively selecting an unchecked consent box agreeing to receive customer-care SMS messages related to their reservation and stay through CoopDrop SMS.

Message frequency varies based on guest interaction. Message and data rates may apply. Guests may opt out at any time by replying STOP and may request assistance by replying HELP.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties except service providers that are required to deliver the messaging service.

 

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell customer or guest information.

Information may be shared only with service providers necessary to operate the platform, including:

  • SMS delivery providers

  • Cloud hosting providers

  • Artificial intelligence providers

  • Analytics and monitoring providers

These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their services.
